With 9 well equipped bedrooms, sleeping up to 18 with all but one of the bedrooms having access to en-suite facilities, it is an ideal holiday retreat. The Guest Wing offers ground floor accommodation with separate access.
The Chartreuse which traces its origins to the 14th century was re-built by the Lavergne family in 1741 and remained as the ancestral home until 1960. Known historically as a ''Noble retreat'' and set within 9 hectares of estate, there are outdoor living areas for everyone. The dining terrace is large and basks in the sun yet has mature trees including a magnificent lime tree for well needed shade.
The 10m x 5m pool is heated and is fenced and alarmed for security. There are Roman steps which are ideal for smaller children or even adults who just wish to relax in the pool. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool if you prefer to keep dry! The Chartreuse is surrounded by it grounds and there are large lawned and garden areas to three sides of the house with the terrace creating the fourth side with spectacular views over the valley.
Set just a couple of kilometres from the local village of Tremolat, the Chartreuse is a blissful rural retreat, yet is still easily accessible from Bergerac, Brive and Bordeaux Airports.
