Beautiful cottage and converted barn in the heart of the “Golden triangle” of the Dordogne valley, between the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat and the world famous caves of Lascaux.

These outstanding properties are surrounded by beautiful countryside yet are within very easy reach of the best of everything this beautiful and interesting region has to offer.

The lovely cottage and the luxury converted barn can be booked together for large groups of up to 12 people. The two properties can also be let out individually.

Both the cottage and barn are classified as 5 star by the Dordogne tourist board and are beautifully decorated throughout.

The properties both have their own well-equipped kitchens and spectacular, comfortable living rooms, with UK and French TV channels and free, high-speed wifi. Beaux Rêves also has its own outdoor heated pool for your enjoyment when you stay here.

Sleeping

The barn sleeps up to 7 people in three large air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms. Two are double rooms and the third room has a double bed and a single bed.

The cottage sleeps up to 5 people in 3 air-conditioned bedrooms all with private bathrooms.

Dining

This property is let on a self-catering basis, however, this doesn’t mean you need to cook for yourself! Evening meals can be provided during your stay, on prior arrangement.

The neighbourhood

Les Charmes de Carlucet is surrounded by beautiful countryside yet only 15 mins from the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat la Canéda and 15 mins from the world famous caves of Lascaux at Montignac. Plus 1.5km from the pretty market village of Salignac-Eyvigues with popular restaurants, a weekly market, bakery and supermarkets.

The nearest lovely and very popular pub/restaurant, The Black Duck, is just a 5-minute walk away.

The pool

Beaux Rêves has its own outdoor heated swimming pool.

Take exit 51 from the A20 and follow the D60 towards Sarlat
Drive through Salignac-Eyvigues
After Intermarché (on the right), take the second left towards Carlucet. Les Charmes is sign posted from this point
After 1.5km on this small road, fork left
After 300m you will see the hedge surrounding the property. Make two right turns into the drive and you will see the Manor house and Villa. Welcome!

Directions from Sarlat-la-Canéda:

Take the D60 towards Brive. Continue straight on towards Salignac through the village of St Crépin et Carlucet, staying on the D60
Continue for another 3km past the municipal stadium (on the right)
After another 500m, turn right towards Carlucet. Les Charmes de Carlucet is signposted from this point
After 1.5km on this small road, fork left
After 300m you will see the hedge surrounding the property. Make two right turns into the drive and you will see the house. Welcome!
