The dining rooms allow for views of the surrounding vineyards and rolling hills. Drinks can also be enjoyed in the small library or among the chestnut trees.

The chef has a strong focus on local and seasonal produce. With a wealth of Bergerac vineyards to choose from, there is also a fine selection of wines to accompany your meal. On cooler evenings, all can be enjoyed alongside a large open fireplace.

An à la carte menu is available, as well as set menus. It is open for dinner only by reservation and closed on Tuesday evenings.

This elegant and sophisticated two Michelin star restaurant offers creative dishes designed by chef Cédric Béchade, who plays with colours and textures in his cuisine.

Located in the middle of the Saint-Émilion wine region, its sommelier Benoit Gelin's counsel will provide the perfect wine pairing. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner, as well as for lunch on Saturdays. Tasting and seasonal menus are offered.

There is also a bar and terrace with magnificent views offering light dishes such as salads and sandwiches specifically designed by chef Cédric Béchade under the name "l'Esprit de Plaisance". It is open for lunch from Monday to Friday.

Stone walls, high ceilings, charming surroundings and elegant table settings lure you into the restaurant, with precise modern day interpretations of classic regional food, made from the finest local produce.

Your meal can be cherished in the dining room or out on the terrace under the lime trees overlooking the gardens. Chef Vincent Arnould heads the brigade and he takes real care in selecting his producers, choosing only the finest products available, whether it is foie gras, walnuts or truffles, the quality is reflected in the food.

Seasonality and availability dictate the set or à la carte menus and can be combined with a wine from the extensive list.

In a dining room graced with elegance and class, you can savour a meal while looking out to the surrounding Lay Valley, vineyards and Chateau gardens. Internationally renowned, the 1 michelin star restaurant serves up refined cuisine based on the superior produce of the region.

The castle has been made into a prestigious wine producer and has been harvesting Malbec grapes since 1987. A member of the "Grands Vins Seigneurs" and part of the Cahors Appellation, you can sample some of their finest wines while dining. In a region synonymous with some of the best wine in the world, there is an extensive list of alternative regional wines to choose from.

A varied selection of set menus are on offer, as well a varied and balanced à la carte. Chef Philippe Combet makes the most of fine seasonal produce, including foie gras, cepes and truffles and has brought them together with contemporary French excellence.

5. Chateau de la Fleunie Restaurant, Condat-sur-Vezere

Set inside a 106-hectare estate Castle, the restaurant setting alone is worth a visit, but with beautiful stone walls, painted wooden beams and decorated in traditional fashion, it is very much worth taking a step inside.

The finest local produce is available here, but what is often associated as heavy and rich food, you will get something completely unexpected. With refined and delicately put together plates, you will get the taste of the region, but in a way that you never could have imagined.

Seasonality dictates the produce, with two set menus and an à la carte option available for your perusal. The meal can be experienced in the confines on the restaurant, or on a hot summers day, outside on the terrace overlooking the vast estate.

Business or larger groups are welcome and all can enjoy a bottle from the fine selection of wines.

From May-September open every for lunch and dinner. In low season please check for opening times.

The elegant restaurant lays host to a set lunch, dinner and à la carte menu as well as the addition of a children's menu. To those staying in the hotel, breakfast is also available. All can be enjoyed 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The restaurant of this excellent 4-star hotel is one of the best in the region. The manor building is set in beautiful grounds, and chef, Ludovic Lavaud, harmoniously matches local products and traditional cuisine with a touch of oriental perfume. The cave is exceptional too.

The 4 dining areas have space for 50 guests and the terrace can accommodate 60 or more. The restaurant opens its doors every evening and for lunch at the weekend. With the choice of four menus, à la carte and children's selection, there is something for everyone. 

Open every evening, service from 19:00-21:00. (Closed Monday evening except in July and August).

Founded in 1848, this restaurant is one of the oldest in the town of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage site. French creative cuisine is served in its terrace and three dining rooms, accompanied by wines from the region.

Open from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch (12:00-14:00) and dinner (19:30-21:45).
