Tree-top adventures near cahors

1. CAP NATURE - Parc de Loisirs, Cahors

Just 5 minutes from Cahors, in Pradines, there are a multitude of activities on offer from acrobatic courses in the trees, to paintball, kayaking, hiking, orienteering and much much more.

2. Rocamadour Aventure, Rocamadour

Aerial adventures including treetop ladders, zip lines, cave routes and rocks faces to climb. This adventure park offers a mix of everything to keep the whole family entertained.

More than 1000 metres of Tyrolean (zip line) and one that is 250 metres long, plus numerous paths through the trees ranging from 0.5 to 20 metres above ground. There are various difficulty levels including children's, green, blue, red and black.

All equipment is included in the cost (harnesses, lanyards, pulleys and carabiners) and is installed and checked daily by the activity company. The courses are practiced independently, in compliance with safety rules, however, ground patrol monitors are available to advise you. After a small mandatory initiation (briefing) that presents the safety instructions, you can continue at your own pace and according to your capabilities.

Based just 5 minutes drive from the town of Rocamadour the site is easy to access. Open during the Easter holidays and throughout spring and summer.

3. La Foret des Ecureuils Adventure Park, Sarlat-la-Caneda

From tree climbing to paintballing and even via ferrata, the Foret des Ecureuils Adventure Park has plenty of offer all ages.

With a choice of 51 ziplines, 171 different features and 11 courses...you won't be bored! Be prepared for an action-packed few hours in the trees, tackling some challenging obstacles.

They also have a Via Ferrata course that will allow you to scale a local rock face that is specially equipped to facilitate your ascent.

If paintball sounds more like your kind of thing then get the family or a group of friends together and come to tackle this assault course.

There is onsite catering for snacks, sandwiches and drinks in July and August. The rest of the year there are picnic benches available.
