A tour of a boar breeding farm to the north of Le Bugue
This is a great outing for a family as you will have the chance to see these magnificent wild boar in a natural environment where they forage and feed in the forests of oak and chestnut trees.
The farmer offers guided tours with commentary so you can hear more about the breeding of his boars, to understand their way of life and the function of breeding from birth to the processed product. After your tour you can visit the farm shop to sample and buy some of these products.
Throughout the summer months of July and August the farm is open daily from 10:00-19:00 and the tour (in French) starts at 15:00 sharp each day and lasts around 90 minutes. During other periods the farm is open to visitors from 13:00-17:00 on Sundays.
