Sights & Sites

This 16th-century château combines medieval defensive fortifications and Renaissance exuberance.

It is set in the heart of the well-known Monbazillac vineyard and has stunning views across the Dordogne. Its interior is decorated in 17th-century furniture, and has a ceremonial feel. Its cellars boast 3,000 bottles of Monbazillac wines.

From the vaulted cellars to the bedrooms, there are nearly twenty furnished rooms available to visit. Various tours are available for individuals and groups.
