Sample the Sauternes and Barsac wines
At the beginning of November, the Sauternes and Barsac Châteaux opens its doors for a weekend in which more than 50 estates welcome the public to sample their wines.
The "La Route des Aromes" takes you through this beautiful countryside and the châteaux often hold exhibitions, performances and gastronomic events. Some circuits are designed for cycling tours.
