Jehan de Valon Restaurant, Rocamadour

Elegant restaurant with panoramic views

Restaurant within l'Hotel Beau Site located at the heart of the mediaeval village of Rocamadour.

Six generations of the same family have been running the establishment since 1868 in one of the former homes of a Commander of the Order of the Knights of Jerusalem, Jehan de Valon, who was at the great siege of Rhodes in 1480.

Striving for a perfect harmony between ancestral know-how and satisfying modern tastes you can enjoy a meal in any season with a magnificent view of the Alzou Gorge from the panoramic dining room, or in the garden terrace in the shade of the lime trees.

The menu offers honey-coloured foie gras, duck and goose confit, local cheeses and fruits and vegetables within its dishes all accompanied by crusty country loaves washed down with sun-soaked Cahors wine.
