Three Beaches in Gironde Monitored by Lifeguards This Weekend

Not all of the beaches of the 36 beaches in Gironde are safeguarded at the start of the summer season, however this weekend sees the start of lifeguard patrol on three of them.

At the height of summer there will be 56 posts along the coasts and lakes of the region, but this weekend they will just be at Lacanau, Hourtin and Carcans beaches.

The weather forecast is looking good, as parts of France are already enjoying a heat wave this week, so enjoy the great conditions and go for a dip in the sea!
