Producer of the most well known Monbazillac appellation Bergerac sweet whites

Location
Bergerac
Imprint

Founded in 1940, the Monbazillac Cellars encompass around one hundred vine-growers who account for around a third of the area entitled to use the Monbazillac appellation name.

The combination of Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle vine stock grown on the sun-kissed slopes of Monbazillac makes this wine one of the stars of the Bergerac wine-producing region.

There is a tour of the wine cellars which finishes with an initiation into wine-tasting. Alternatively you can sample the wines at the Château de Monbazillac, a beautiful Renaissance building.

Tours in summer, every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. For free and by appointment only.
