Canoeing and kayaking down the Vereze valley in the heart of the Dordogne
Easy canoeing for everybody. You can navigate with family or friends in peace. You’ll be given a solid equipment, stable canoes and buoyancy aids.
You will be taken upstream by minibus and can then paddle downstream at your own pace until you get back to our CANOËric base. Or alternatively you can start from the base and paddle downstream, to be picked up at a later point. You can take all the time you want, feel free to stop for a picnic or a swim at your leisure. They will offer a variety of timetable and ideas for you to choose from but ultimately this is a trip to take at your own pace.
There is also the option to canoe on the Dordogne, although advance booking is necessary and a minimum of three canoes are required.

Directions
CANOËric, canoe and kayak rental, is located near the centre of Le Bugue, only a 5 minute walk from the Tourist Office along the Vézere riverbanks. Close to both the village of Bournat and the Aquarium.
When to come
They are open all year round, weather dependant. Departures occur daily from 09:00 and from 10:00 in the off season.
