Located just a short distance from the centre of Monpazier, the cottage serves as an ideal spot to explore one of the regions many treasures. Some of the finest vineyards in the world can be visited, a trip to one of the many Chateaus or a simple stroll around a farmers or antique fair.
There are a selection of three elegant and comfortable rooms to choose from, each of which comes with an en-suite, free Wifi and a hairdryer. There is also an option to stay in Chez Edell's 'Petit Cottage' which is located on the bottom floor. It comprises of a large double bedroom, a sitting room with satelite TV and a kitchen and dining area. Both linen and towels will be provided free of charge.
For those staying in the B&B, a continental breakfast will be served each morning in the dining room or outside on the terrace.

Musee Edmond Michelet
This museum in the centre of Brive covers the Second World War and the Resistance. It is housed in the former home of Edmond Michelet, a key resistor who was arrested by the Germans in 1943 and sent to the concentration camp at Dachau. He survived and returned to France in 1945 and went on to become Minister for the Armed Forces under the de Gaulle government. His studies on the Resistance won him literary prizes and his home has become a study centre as well as a museum. Many of the museum's collections were gifts from former resistance fighters and it houses an exceptional collection of over 400 propaganda posters.
