If you're in the area on a Saturday morning, make sure you take in the famous Sarlat market. Numerous stalls brimming with gigantic cheeses, locally produced saucisson, plump vegetables from local farmers, plus many many more culinary treats including the revered truffle aka 'black diamonds' of the Périgord.
